As I mentioned in the previous entry we had an inspirational shoot at the Bahamas. Without the couple. The inspirational shoot does not necessarily include the couple. However, I missed them, missed the emotions, missed the feeling of the moment that cannot be recreated. When we (our posh group) saw Sarah passing by on the ship on the night of that day, I decided to approach her. With the idea of having an engagement session on the next day. We were having formal night at the ship and she looked stunning in her dress, that could have easily be mistaken for a wedding dress. I am sure they must have thought I was crazy… Working free while cruising. On the other hand I knew what to expect in Nassau the following day. Beach and shops. It can be lovely with family on a holiday. However, attending a business event my mind was set on photography, my work, my passion. Sarah and Jason stepped in where I needed.
This story in itself is out of the ordinary. Yet, it is not what makes it so special, heartwarming for me. That evening on the Bahamas gave more than I had anticipated. I have never had an e-session that qualified so perfectly for an engagement session. Jason proposed just the day before I met them 🙂 Apart from being very photogenic they were open to show their love to us from the first moment. Us, because Kriszta (La Memoire) was an active part of this evening.
I did not expect them so easygoing, so free. I did not expect to have such a perfect sunset. I did not expect to be overwhelmed with love…
I beleive there are attractions, the lines meant to be crossed. This is a picturesque example of my belief.
